I Show Scrooge his Death

December 24, 1843
Today I was assigned to haunt Ebenezer Scrooge.  I'd rather die yet another painful death than haunt him.  He started freaking out about his death because the boss wouldn't let me tell him at that time.  Believe me, I do not want to get on the devil's bad side.  All I could do was point my dirty little finger.  I wanted to help him, I really did.  You may not believe this, but I'm not a bad spirit.  I'm forced to be mean to bad people.  Oh.  Right.  Back to the point.  I had to show him poor people taking his things after he died.  I also had to show him the mourning Cratchit family and businessmen criticizing his funeral.  He started asking me who died and the devil told me I could show him.  I pointed to the grave in the melancholy graveyard. It said Ebenezer Scrooge.  He started bawling and promised to honor Christmas Past, Present, and Future.  It was heartbreaking.  I was allowed to take him back to his house.  The next day, he ate a Christmas dinner with his nephew and enjoyed his party.   He also bought a huge turkey for the Cratchit family and gave him a raise.  It really feels good to see how much my friends and I have helped him.

  1. Great job Ghost of Christmas Future. I know it is a dirty job, but someone has to do it. When you are feeling rejected and down, look at all the lives you have touched! Mrs. Fierro
